“Imagine”

The monsoon life

The monsoon season has arrived. In KT, flying is not an option. As you can see the photos on the previous post, it was terrible. The meteorology department had even issued a Orange code warning in areas of Kelantan and Terengganu as of this morning.

Dont mess withem

This morning, I thought finally the weather is better.. after 2 days of raining. But worst has yet to come. After our breakfast, we could see line of stormy clouds (squalls) some 5-7 miles away from the coastal area, somewhat not affecting us yet. Surface winds where westernly but upper winds seems to be in the opposite direction.  Thus, the CB is moving closer to us… with speed. In minutes, yea just minutes, those alien like shape of clouds, similar to those alien mothership from Independence Day or the upcoming 2012’s Tsunami, invaded our airspace.

MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY. We were under attacked!

When the weather overheaded us, surface wind changed its direction, working together with the upper winds. They grew in intensity. The day becomes the night. Soon rain fall upon us.

This day, I truly appreciate the saying “Weather Changes.. Fast!”

Morning Story

This is a story about a boy named XXX

.

Early morning, he wakes up
Ring ring ring on the phone
It’s time for washup, baby smile
It’s you they’re all waiting for
They go…
“Isn’t he lazy, this troublesome boy?”
And they say…
.
[Chorus]
He’s so lucky, he’s a star
But he seek, seek, seeks for a lovely heart, thinking
If there’s nothing missing in my life
Then why do these thoughts come at night
.
Lost in a morning, rainy day
But there’s no one there to cheer him up
And the world is crying, and it keeps on raining
But tell me what time its gonna stop
They go…
“Isn’t this lovely, no flying today?”
And they say…
.
[Chorus]
He’s so lucky, he’s a star
But he seek, seek, seeks for a lovely heart, thinking
If there’s nothing missing in my life
Then why do these thoughts come at night
.
[Bridge]
Isn’t he lucky, this ambitious boy?
He is so lucky, but what does he seek?
If there is nothing missing in his life
Why do thoughts come at night?
.
[Chorus x2]
He’s so lucky, he’s a star
But he seek, seek, seeks for a lovely heart, thinking
If there’s nothing missing in my life
Then why do these thoughts come at night

The love dare

I have just created a new page ‘Love Dare’. It can be accessed from the top of this blog.

For the next 40 days, I will be adding 1 new ‘dare’ every day.

These are the dares which can improve our life day by day, if we ought to challenge ourselves.

Love our family. Love our friends. Love our enemies.

above Heavens

Monday morning, since I was not scheduled to fly that day. I decided to take a ferry flight (tumpang/free flight) to Langkawi. Reason is to exchange aircraft. We took off 8.30am from KT with Capt Robin as the PIC and Hakim as the co-pilot. For this flight, I was the passenger. Arm with a Canon 1000D, I took this opportunity to take photos. Unlike usual sorties, we cruised at an altitude of 10000′, the maximum altitude take in consideration of factors like human performance, aircraft capability, airlaw and terrain. Weather was not all that good, huge building clouds all the way. The journey took us 2.30 hours due to avoiding clouds and bad weather at Kuah, Langkawi. We touched down on a wet runway21 @ 11.00am. By right, we are to depart for KT @ 1400h. Unfortunately,  thunderstorm invade the Langkawi skys at 12pm, raining till night. So it was a no go, that means a night stop for us. At night, it was boring but tiring…

Next morning, we started the engines at 8.30am. This trip, I acted as the co-pilot. The take off was done by Captain because of the strong crosswind around 15kts. The flight at 9000′ back to KT took only 2hours. Flying through layers of clouds for about an hour was tiring and glaring. This is the only time I can feel the chill of low temperatures blasting at my face. At 9000′, temperatures are around 15C, so cold we had to turn on the heater! At 10.30am, I finally brought the plane on ground. Mission Accomplished. It was a very good experience to fly from Terengganu to Langkawi and vise versa in 2 days.
